Tragic road accident in the Pakistani province of Balochistan. A bus traveling from Quetta city to Karachi crashed into a ravine in Lasbela district.

48 passengers on board: 39 confirmed dead, confirmed the assistant commissioner Lasbela Hamza Anjum.

According to an initial reconstruction, the vehicle was making a U-turn when it crashed into a pillar of the bridge and then fell into the ravine where it caught fire.

On the spot, rescuers recovered the injured and transported them to hospitals.
