Also this year the Christmas Eve Mass celebrated by Pope Francis is brought forward to 7.30 pm on December 24th.
This is what the Vatican news portal announces by reporting the calendar of celebrations presided over by the Holy Father for the Christmas period.
Last year the Mass on the night of December 24 was brought forward due to the curfew, two hours earlier than the 9.30 pm time it had usually been held since the years in which the Pope was Benedict XVI.
Pope Francis has decided to keep the time chosen last year for the celebration in the Vatican basilica.
