Chased for over 50 miles and killed in a robbery attempt while his wife and daughter slept. The reason? He had just cashed out at the casino and that was exactly what the killer was aiming for.

The victim, Sree Ranga Aravapalli, a 54-year-old pharmaceutical executive, had withdrawn a win of around $ 10,000 at Bensalem's Parx Casino. A not very high sum but which nevertheless attracted the attention of 27-year-old Jekai Reid-John.

The young man chased him on his way home from Pennsylvania to New Jersey and killed him with a gunshot while the 54-year-old parked his car.

Reid-John was later arrested on first degree murder charges. The investigators framed him thanks to the images of the video surveillance cameras.
