At least four Cambodian civilians were killed today in Thai attacks along the border between the two countries , while about ten people were injured, Cambodian Information Minister Neth Pheaktra said, citing AFP news agency.

According to the minister, the clashes affected the provinces of Oddar Meanchey and Preah Vihear. Thailand, which conducted airstrikes in the same area, confirmed the death of one of its soldiers and the wounding of eight others.

The incidents reveal a new escalation in tensions along the border, where the two countries share a long history of territorial disputes. Local authorities continue to monitor the situation, amid growing concerns for the safety of civilians in the affected areas.
