The investigation into the Air India crash, which killed 270 people last month, is focusing on the actions of the plane's pilots and the switches in the cockpit used to start, stop, or reset the plane's engines in certain emergency situations.

According to sources close to the investigators and to the initial assessments of US officials, no problem has been identified with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner so far and for now there is no evidence of a failure of both engines at the same time , as hypothesized in recent days .

The Wall Street Journal reports, also stating that preliminary results indicate that the switches controlling the flow of fuel to the jet's two engines "were turned off," it is not clear whether intentionally or accidentally.
