The body of a young migrant of sub-Saharan origins has been recovered. He died this morning while attempting to reach Ceuta from the Moroccan mountains by paraglider, falling into the sea shortly before landing.

Civil Guard sources, cited by Efe, reported that the young man had taken off from the Benzù area, in the hills overlooking the Moroccan coast overlooking the northern bay of Ceuta, to enter the Spanish exclave in Morocco.

For reasons currently under investigation, he lost control of the paraglider and fell into the water. He was already lifeless when he was rescued by the Guardia Civil at 8:00 a.m.
