The unstoppable march of Davide Mazzanti in the Volleyball World Cup continues.
Alessia Orro and her companions also defeated China , with the eloquent result of 3-0, in the last match of the second phase, thus securing first place in the group . Already yesterday, by bending Argentina, they had locked up the passage to the quarter-finals.
After a hard fought first set, which ended with the advantages, Italy took off and won 26-24, 25-16, 25-20 .
Eight victories and one defeat at the tie break against Brazil, this is the roadmap of the blue who finished the group with 25 points . In the quarterfinals they will face a match between China, Belgium and Japan, all teams that Italy has already defeated in the first two stages of this tournament.
