Argentina vs. England and France vs. Spain will be the two semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup.
Argentina qualified with a 3-1 extra-time victory over Switzerland.
Goals: Mac Allister put the defending champions ahead, before Ndoye equalized. Julian Alvarez and Lau then added the finishing touches. Taro Martinez scored in extra time to give Messi and his teammates the next round.
The match between Norway and England also went into extra time, with the British side winning 2-1. After Schjelderup's lead, Bellingham scored twice.
But there is no shortage of controversy: for the Norwegians, one of the English goal opportunities was in fact tainted by an above-the-pitch camera that deflected a Nyland clearance.
