"An unsustainable situation, culminating in the proclamation of a state of industrial action by several unions (including Fials and Cisl Fp)." Regional Councilor Alessandro Sorgia (FdI) weighs in on the management of the Brotzu company in Cagliari.

"The current organizational paralysis is compromising the viability of essential healthcare services," Sorgia says, "placing the burden of inefficiencies solely on the shoulders of workers."

According to the regional councilor, "The drastic stance taken by the unions, who already on August 26th declared the relationship of trust with the general manager exhausted, demanding his resignation , is dictated by conditions that are no longer tolerable. Employees face serious staffing shortages, unsustainable workloads, constant delays in overtime payments, emergency room allowances, and the irregular distribution of meal vouchers. Added to this is the freeze on the 2025 and 2026 collective bargaining agreement, which is generating a dangerous exodus of doctors and nurses."

According to the Fratelli d'Italia representative, "in a context of total emergency, the company's top management appears incomplete : the administrative director's position has inexplicably been vacant for over a month and a half. This managerial gap," Sorgia harshly attacks, "is compounded by the persistent regional political instability. The interim management of the Department of Health by the president, who, without any specific expertise in the matter, is effectively preventing timely and structural interventions, abandoning the Sardinian healthcare system to its own devices."

"It is essential and can no longer be postponed," he concludes, "to take decisive action to fill managerial gaps and restore the company's proper functioning, protecting a wealth of professional skills that today, due to this political inertia, risks being irreversibly lost."
