The measure envisaged by the Regional Council, on the proposal of the councilor for work Alessandra Zedda, in favor of Agencies and Vocational Training Bodies, which from 15 June will be able to apply for regional aid, comes to life.

The Department of Labor has in fact published the public notice at the counter for the granting of the grant ,   equal to 2.5 million euros in total , allocated to deal with the consequences of the suspension or reduced activity due to the emergency linked to the spread of Covid (public bodies, therefore schools and universities are excluded).

"Agencies and training bodies have had a fundamental role during the health and economic crisis and continue to have it in the post-pandemic recovery phase - explains Alessandra Zedda -. With the renewal of this important measure, already started and completed for 2020 and which in a week it will be available to those who want to access the contribution, we concretely give support to those involved in the front line to help make the employment market more modern ".

"It is in fact - continued the exponent of the Giunta Solinas - of a subsidy aimed at supporting (through a parameterized contribution to the salary costs of the staff kept in service) the resumption of activities heavily damaged by the suspension or reduction due to the emergency from Covid -19 ".

Councilor Zedda also emphasized the region's desire not to leave anyone behind . "Supporting agencies and organizations that promote the training of our workers - he continued - is constant and strategic for recovery and it is also for this reason that any resources that may become available, as a result of new allocations, can be adopted in order to satisfy the 'any question of the interested parties that has not found capacity in the Notice ", concluded the Councilor.

The beneficiaries of the aid are naturally the accredited training agencies in Sardinia , with operational headquarters and local units in the regional territory.

Looking at the detail of the measure, a contribution is envisaged, for the year 2021, for each worker for which the training agency requests the aid, parameterised at 60% of the monthly salary, for a period not exceeding six months of the year 2021 (even non-continuous), reduced by any periods of layoffs enjoyed by the staff employed by the beneficiary agency, in compliance with the rules on accumulation and the prohibition of double financing.
