Dinamo Women are back on the pitch looking to stay undefeated.
It's the sixth game of the season, the fourth in the Women's EuroCup, where the Sassari team made its debut with a win in the group stage against Croatian side Dubrovnik-Ragusa. Tonight's opponents (tip-off at 8 p.m. at the Palais des Sports de Lattes ) are the French team Basket Lattes Montpellier , a team that plays in the Ligue Féminine de Basket, France's top division.
The French club has won the league twice and the French Cup four times. On the first day of the EuroCup, Lattes-Montpellier pulled off a stunning victory away to KP Brno (60-88).
The French team has made several changes to its roster compared to last season, where it won both matches against Sassari. Coach Paolo Citrini: "We're facing a very tough match, another high-level test for our growth. We're facing one of the best Eurocup teams, with a very good roster: at the European level, they have key and experienced players like Bernies and Pospisilova. Under the basket, they rely on the remarkable physicality of Diallo, Angloma, and Breen."
