The victory at PalaSerradimigni against struggling Battipaglia was easier than expected. The score was 86-72, but by mid-game the gap was already 22 points.

Dinamo Women attacked the match and their opponent, pushing the transition with point guard Carangelo and shooting from beyond the arc with excellent percentages: a staggering 60% until halftime. Having taken an early double-digit lead (19-8), the Sassari team increased it after 5 minutes, ignoring the 2-3 zone defense deployed extensively by the visitors. Treffers first, and then Poindexter and Turel, were relentless in their three-pointers, and at halftime the score was self-evident: 54-32.

The rest of the match was a fast-paced affair with little opposition from Battipaglia, who continued to play zone defense despite the white-and-blues' shooting. The Italian bench players had plenty of space, even at the cost of losing a few points in the lead.

Poindexter tops the scorer with 23 points. Turel adds 15 points, all three-pointers.
