Dinamo Women opens the Women's Eurocup Regular Season tonight at PalaSerradimigni (8:30 p.m.). Their opponent is Dubrovnik, known in Italian as Ragusa di Dalmazia. In addition to the Croatian teams, Group H also includes Lattes Montpellier (France) and JP TANY Brno (Czech Republic).

Coach Paolo Citrini said: "We will face this competition at our best, knowing that everyone must be ready."

The Sassari team has so far had a clean sweep: 3/3, a double victory against the Greek team Panathlitikos in the European Cup qualification, and a success over San Martino di Lupari (76-64) in Brescia on the Opening Day of the women's A1 league.

ZKK Ragusa/Dubrovnik is one of the most prestigious clubs in Croatian basketball, competing in the Premier League, the top Croatian league, where they have won four consecutive titles. In a roster packed with Croatian players, including a few from other former Yugoslav countries, the only true "foreigner" is French center Boyomo, a 6'1" (201 cm) tall player. Physicality is a hallmark of the Croatian team, which also boasts two other players who are over 6'3": centers Mandic and Djuranovic. Wings Cipcic, Teodoric, and Vuckovic are experienced players.

Mourning for Angius - All of Dinamo mourns the passing at 84 of Silvio Angius, who wore the Biancocelesti jersey from 1966 to 1974. He was one of the iconic players of those years. Angius also played for Olimpia Cagliari in the second division in the 1960s.
