There is time to mend the two souls of the Sardinian centre-left, as well as the will (at least on the part of the Progressives).
This is what the group leader in the Regional Council Francesco Agus claims, according to which the break between Alessandra Todde and Renato Soru is not definitive .
« The electoral campaign – he declares – starts when the lists are presented . The times are still there and our good will for dialogue is there. What is divided today can be recomposed, we are working towards that ."
What is needed now, according to Agus, is «disarmament on the part of those who react to our requests by always raising new barriers . The reasons for the dialogue and the method have rules, I see a rigidity that takes us nowhere."
On the other hand, no concrete signs of opening to the primaries, on the contrary. Alessandra Todde will officially launch the electoral campaign in her native Nuoro on Sunday : appointment at 10.30 at Exme with the convention entitled "United Sardinia". But Agus does not give up: «All popular initiatives are fine, but the real electoral campaign – he reiterates – only starts with the presentation of the lists».
