Wheelchair basketball: three Sardinians in the U23 national team

Three Sardinian players in the national Under 23 wheelchair basketball team which will be involved in the European Category Championships from 24 to 29 June in Madrid.
Two play in the DjuniorTeam/Dinamo Lab: Cristiano Uras and Simone Carta; one plays in the Asd Asinara/Gsd Porto Torres: Federico Bobbato.
The island basketball players were called up to the 12 by coach Fabio Castellucci assisted by second Roberto Ceriscioli and DT Carlo Di Giusto.
The other under teams that will take part in the continental tournament are Spain, Poland, Germany, Portugal, Turkey, Israel and also Great Britain, where another Dinamo Lab basketball player, Charlie McIntyre, plays.
The national team will gather at the Olympic Preparation Center in Tirrenia from 16 June, before departing for Spain, scheduled from Rome's Leonardo da Vinci Airport on 22 June.
