Italy is off to a great start in the European Wheelchair Basketball Championships currently underway in Sarajevo, defeating Switzerland 89-35. Tomorrow at 7:30 p.m., the big match against defending champions Great Britain takes place.
Of the three Dinamo Lab Sassari players, two made the starting five: Enrico Ghione and Driss Saaid. The game was already over after two quarters: the Azzurri were up 31. The third player from the Sassari team, Giulio Maria Papi, also played. Claudio Spanu, who transferred from Dinamo Lab to Asinara Waves in Porto Torres, also got a few minutes on the court.
