The theme is strong and always current: the tumors that have affected some soldiers who have practiced in the military ranges in Sardinia . Four of them, in the terminal phase, become bank robbers in small island villages because the state has denied them compensation. This is the story behind “ What is mine ”, a short film by the Sassari director and screenwriter Gianni Cesaraccio, already author of the popular “Valerio” (winner of Visioni Sarde 2020) and “Noi siamo il male”.

Produced by Fabio Donatini and Chiara Nicoletti for Zarathustra Film, in collaboration with Terra de Punt by Tore Cubeddu, "What is mine" was born from an idea of the actor Marco Bullitta (recently starring in the film "Il Muto di Gallura" by Matteo Fresi), also among the main interpreters of the short together with Vanni Fois (actor with a career rich in collaborations with great directors such as Pupi Avati and Antonello Grimaldi), Roberto Fara (for many years in the comic group Pino e gli antiborpi con i who shot the feature film "Bianco di Babbudoiu"), Davide Tassi (author of plays such as "Volevo essere Pantani" and recently in the cast of the film "Governance - The price of power" by Michael Zampino).

The short film was shot between Giave, Nulvi, Lake Cuga in Uri and Sassari in the summer of two years ago, but due to various problems (starting from Covid) it is still in the post-production phase. Hence the idea of launching a crowdfunding campaign that aims to close the budget for the finalization of the film and its distribution. Part of the funds raised with this campaign will go to the Mariangela Pinna oncology association.
