Olbia is also among the top three Italian cities most appreciated by visitors. There are neither Rome nor Venice, but Matera and Naples keep company in the center of Gallura.

The ranking was released by the Preply portal which examined the online reviews published on Tripadvisor by selecting the most popular realities.

Matera, the one that took first place, received 98% positive reviews. Olbia, in second place, fascinated 97% of visitors. In particular for the sea activities offered by the city, such as the raft tour and snorkelling in the Tavolara Marina Area, the SUP (Stand up paddle) surf excursions and those on the catamaran. For art lovers, on the other hand, the Roman aqueduct and numerous churches are worth a visit.

Third place for Naples: the Campania capital received positive reviews from almost 94% of visitors, who were particularly impressed by the city's culture. In fact, the attraction that has received the highest percentage of positive reviews is the Napulitanata, the concert hall of the typical Neapolitan song.

Looking instead at the most visited Italian monuments, at the top of the ranking we find the Trevi Fountain, which has received more than 100,000 reviews, of which almost 70,000 5-star. In second place is the Pantheon, with almost 90,000 reviews, and immediately after the Duomo of Milan, which has received almost 50,000 reviews.
