The Municipality of Naples has carried out an extraordinary mosquito disinfestation program, both anti-larval and anti-adult, at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, ahead of Saturday's match between Napoli and Cagliari.
The Municipal Administration, in close coordination with the Local Health Authority Napoli 1 and other stakeholders, is implementing a series of preventive measures to protect public health and environmental safety, in line with the directives issued by the Ministry of Health, the Campania Region, and the Prefecture to combat the West Nile virus.
As announced by the Councilor for Health and Parks, Vincenzo Santagada, numerous extraordinary disinfestation interventions are underway in the city's parks as well.
These operations are carried out in collaboration with the "decorum task force" established by Mayor Gaetano Manfredi.
