Nerves are very tense at Villa Devoto for the majority summit called by Alessandra Todde with all the Campo Largo secretaries . The meeting is underway and comes the day after the EGAS vote to elect the new president . Yesterday, what had been anticipated in previous days occurred: the regional president supported and attempted to secure the election for the incumbent Fabio Albieri , elected in the previous round with the center-right's votes. This time, with the Democratic Party and the Progressives opposed, he was defeated by 6 to 5, but an absolute majority is needed for the election. The Democratic Party does not intend to budge an inch from its position, and if Todde were to succeed in reinstating Albieri, the majority would begin a period of rupture between the two major parties.

EGAS will be discussed, along with healthcare, and the review of the government, which Todde insists should be implemented after the budget is approved. But there is uncertainty about the timing of the measure. The friction over EGAS and, above all, the cuts to funding for the group's employees threaten to significantly slow down the process. If funding for collaborators is not restored, a large segment of the broad camp and the entire center-right will not authorize the use of Article 102 to bring the bill to the floor immediately.

Sitting at the table were the President of the Region, the secretary of the Democratic Party (PD) Silvio Lai, Ettore Licheri of the Five Star Movement (M5S), the president of the Progressives Massimo Zedda, Paola Casula for Sinistra Futura (Future Left), Antonio Piu for Avs (Avs), Franco Cuccureddu for Orizzonte Comune (Common Horizon), Valdo Di Nolfo for Uniti per Todde (United for Todde), Franciscu Sedda of A Innantis (A Innantis), and a delegation from Demos (Demos). No one wanted to make any statements before the start of the summit.
