Walter Masala and the Artea Quartet at the “Canepa” in Sassari

The review doubles again this week. Two concerts with free admission in the Sala Sassu del Canepa in Sassari, included in the review “I mercoledì del Conservatorio”.
On Wednesday at 7 pm, the student Walter Masala will perform on the piano eight Lyric Pieces op. 38 and the Sonata op. 7 by Edvard Grieg, Two Poems op. 32 by Alexander Skrjabin and Ballade No. 2 S 171 by Franz Liszt.
On Friday at 6.30 pm, the newly formed Quartetto Artea will take to the stage in the Sassu hall, made up of musicians who met as teachers at the Sassari Conservatory: Manfred Croci (violin), Stefania Pisanu (viola), Chiara Burattini (cello) and Fabio Moi (piano).
The program includes the Quartet in G minor K478 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the Quartet in C minor op. 60 by Johannes Brahms.
