Volotea sets sail for France.

Tomorrow, Friday 21 April, the inaugural Olbia-Lille flight is scheduled : the route includes 2 weekly frequencies, every Tuesday and Friday. The low-cost also restored, last April 14, the connections to Nantes (2 weekly frequencies, every Tuesday and Friday).

The carrier takes to the track in Olbia with a range of 28 connections, ranking first for the number of connected destinations, 14 in Italy and 14 abroad, equal to a total offer of approximately 1.1 million seats for sale. Finally, again in Olbia, for Summer 23, the Volotea fleet strengthens its presence, increasing from 2 to 3 Airbus 320 aircraft with 180 seats.

Volotea thus reconfirms its investments at the airport: in addition to the new connection to Lille, the Costa Smeralda will inaugurate numerous routes at the end of May in anticipation of the 2023 summer holidays to France and Spain . In total there are 10 new routes launched by the carrier locally: Lille, Barcelona, Madrid, Marseille, Paris Orly, Toulouse, Bilbao, Florence, Valencia and Nice.

"We are proud to be able to inaugurate the new flight to Lille, an extremely lively city which boasts a mix of religious, civil and military architecture belonging to different eras and which is also known abroad for its renowned markets - said Valeria Rebasti, Country Manager Italy & Southeastern Europe of Volotea -. Thanks to the numerous flight options offered at the airport, Olbia will become one of the main springboards for diving into the summer of 2023. With 14 domestic connections and 14 abroad, we will be able to meet the needs of every type of traveller, offering flights with convenient times to support Sardinian connectivity. Finally, it should not be forgotten that we fly between Olbia and Rome Fiumicino under a territorial continuity regime, to best meet the travel needs of local communities".

There are 28 destinations connected by Volotea to Olbia airport, 14 in Italy (Ancona, Bari, Bologna, Catania, Florence - News 2023, Genoa, Milan Bergamo, Naples, Palermo, Pisa, Rome Fiumicino, Turin, Venice and Verona) , 10 in France (Bordeaux, Deauville, Lyon, Strasbourg, Nantes, Lille, Marseille, Paris Orly, Toulouse and Nice - New 2023) and 4 in Spain (Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid and Valencia - New 2023).
