Volotea's offer for Olbia airport is enriched with two new routes.

From 26 May flights to Madrid will begin, from 28 of the same month those to Nice.

Three flights a week to the Spanish capital: every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, for a total of 116 trips and over 2,800 seats. Two weekly frequencies for the French city, on Wednesdays and Sundays for a total of 78 flights and over 14,000 seats.

This brings the number of destinations that can be reached with Volotea from the Costa Smeralda airport to 22, where the low cost is first in terms of number of connected destinations: 13 in Italy and 9 abroad.

And the company adds that further news will arrive in the coming days, with the announcement of other destinations. On the other hand, Volotea has inaugurated one of its operational bases in Costa Smeralda.

«We are happy to announce these important news. From next May, it will be possible to take off from the airport to two incredibly lively cities such as Madrid and Nice - said Valeria Rebasti, Country Manager Italy & Southeastern Europe of Volotea -. Thus, new destinations that are very different from each other but equally irresistible are added to our portfolio which, we are sure, will conquer an even larger number of passengers. This announcement, in addition to increasing tourist flows to and from Sardinia, reconfirms the key role of the Sardinian market in our investment plans. We are counting on announcing important news in Olbia soon, where we are working together with the airport management to create new international tourist routes».

These are the 22 destinations connected to Olbia by Volotea: 7 in France (Bordeaux, Deauville, Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Strasbourg and Nice), 2 in Spain (Barcelona and Madrid) and 13 in Italy (Ancona, Bologna, Catania, Florence, Genoa, Milan Bergamo, Naples, Palermo, Pisa, Rome Fiumicino, Turin, Venice and Verona).
