Three new Volotea connections to and from Cagliari airport.
The company announces it, in a note, which reads: «The international flight to Barcelona will depart from 7 April, while from 27 May two new routes will be activated for Athens and Brindisi» .
FREQUENCIES – For the Catalan city there will be 3 frequencies a week during the busiest traffic periods and an overall offer of over 30,200 seats is expected, equal to 168 flights. The other 2 sections will both have a twice-weekly frequency, with an offer of over 14,000 seats and around 80 flights each. Finally, again from 27 May, the connection from the Cagliari airport to Ancona will be restored, while from 7 April the Cagliari-Turin section will be reactivated.

For David Crognaletti, Chief Commercial Officer of Sogaer, the Cagliari airport management company, the consolidation of the partnership with Volotea and the opening of the new routes will significantly contribute to the further growth of the Cagliari airport: «The contribution of Volotea, which will continue to invest in Cagliari in 2023, will be essential to continue expanding our network, with an important focus on the international segment in particular on France, Spain and Greece but also with the important confirmations and news on the domestic segment".
