The latest new purchase of Hermaea Olbia is an old - so to speak - acquaintance: the Gallura club announces that it has signed Karin Barbazeni for the next A2 women's volleyball championship, who returns to wear blue and white after the experiences she has had in Montecchio and Soverato.

In Olbia in the 2021/22 season, the Trentino power forward, born in 1999, returns to wear the blue and white colors with great satisfaction. «I'm really happy to return to Sardinia, first of all because I find a staff with whom I already had the pleasure of working the first time in Olbia: they are very well-trained technicians with whom I got along very well. I'm sure we'll be able to do a good job", says the player, who brings important quality and physicality to the group entrusted to coach Dino Guadalupi for the fourth consecutive year.

«The memories I have of my first season in biancoblù are truly many: it was a year characterized by the desire to work and get involved, and by fun, even if perhaps the thing that left the most impression on me was the access to the playoffs and the first victory against Mondovì", adds Barbazeni, who last year with the Volley Soverato shirt collected 25 appearances and 178 points with 72 winning blocks and faced Hermaea in the survival pool of the cadet tournament.

And regarding the next one he announces: «We certainly want to do well. For my part, I will put all my effort into growing as a player and helping the team: it will be a tough championship, in which each of us will have to give 110 percent if we want to get some satisfaction."
