A bridge of music and cultures united Sardinia and Germany at the Tenuta Li Lioni in Porto Torres (on September 7) for the Voci d'Europa festival, involving the German singers of ZwoZwoEins in a spectacular “ballu tundu” with the folk group Intragnas from Porto Torres and the folk group “Città di Ossi”.

To the sound of guitar and accordion, the Sardinian dancers, wearing their splendid costumes, led the German singers in a lively traditional dance, symbolically representing the movement of the universe, uniting all the members of the dance group. The male ensemble of the Tölzer Knabenchor, directed by Marco Barbon, also offered a thrilling performance, culminating in a stunning rendition in the Sardinian language of "A Diosa"—also known as "Non potho reposare."

The concert began with a performance by the Coro Polifonico Turritano , which performed a repertoire of international songs to promote the idea of unity and cultural exchange at the heart of the event. Artistic director Laura Lambroni reiterated the message launched in recent days by Maestro Barbon. A participation plaque was presented by CPT president Maria Maddalena Simile to Gianni Nieddu, president of the folk group Intragnas, Veronica Martinez for the folk group "Città di Ossi," and Anna Maria Zara, president of the Porto Torres tourist board. Craft exhibitions and food were also featured. In the morning, the Coro Polifonico Turritano accompanied tourists on the ferry to Asinara, enlivening the journey with some of the most significant pieces from its repertoire.

On Monday, September 8th, at 8:30 pm, the event will take place at the Basilica of San Gavino in Porto Torres , with the Alghero Polyphonic Choir conducted by Maestro Ugo Spanu, the Lux Nova Choir of Ossi conducted by Salvatore Spanedda, and the Polifonica Santa Cecilia of Sassari conducted by Alessio Manca. The grand finale will be on Friday, September 12th, at 9 pm, in the Basilica of San Gavino, where the Turritano Polyphonic Choir, the Choir of the University of Sassari, and the Symphony Orchestra of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt from Germany, conducted by Uwe Sochaczewsky, will perform.
