Sardinia on display at Vinitaly. And the Sardinian wines at the Verona event were a great success , where the Coldiretti companies shone a lot.

Numerous awards have been obtained: «Once again the success of Sardinian bottles has been certified, increasingly appreciated by national consumers and beyond», commented Battista Cualbu and Luca Saba, president and director of Coldiretti Sardegna.

It was especially the young who shone. From the Deaddis cellar of Bulzi and its rosé Igt Isola dei Nuraghi Bovale “One Hundred” to the white Vermentino di Sardegna Doc “Majga”, from the Nois cellar of Oliena, by Antonio Puddu . A young reality, the latter, which also collaborates with various artists in the world for the creation of labels. At the "Z Generation" tasting , the Muggittu / Boeli winery was the protagonist with the red Igt Boeli 2021 .

«Participation in the event was a point of growth for our work but also an opportunity to bring our wine to such an important stage - underlines Mattia Muggittu, the young founder of the Mamoiada company -. We have given a different vision of Cannonau from the past, with a production that the new generations have been able to innovate thanks to studies and experiments to create more balanced products and with a harmonized alcohol content suitable for world markets . The territory of Mamoiada, by its nature, allows us to have a great diversity of products and 100% organic processing».

Great success for Vernaccia : first of all that of Cantina Orro, among the best Italian wines with an absolute score of 95 out of 100 . Also on display is the Vernaccia del Consorzio di Oristano, which was officially presented in Verona on a national and international scale : «It was a highly satisfying Vinitaly for us and for Vernaccia di Oristano told with a different storytelling than in the past - comments Aldo Buiani, director of the Consortium of Vernaccia di Oristano -, we start from a history of thousands of years for this vine but we come to the awareness that it must be re-evaluated in a modern reading. Vernaccia is not only a wine to accompany desserts but its rediscovery must be linked to innovation in culinary combinations».

Craft beers also had space at Vinitaly, with Sardinian breweries as protagonists . The products of Sol&Agrifood were awarded to the Marduk agricultural brewery of Irgoli with the "Sexi Pompia Italian Fruit Beer" flavored beer and the Mogorese BAM agricultural brewery, with the bovale flavored beer in the Italian Grape Ale section. Great success also for the Isola di Thiesi brewery, the Lara di Tertenia agricultural brewery and Santu jorgi di Bitti .
