A kaleidoscopic calendar of events including evening shows, matinees for schools, creative workshops for adults and children, figurative arts exhibitions and reading promotion activities.

The "2023 Autumn Season" of Abaco Teatro offers a vast and multidisciplinary offer, which began on 15 October and will continue until 17 December (every Sunday) at the municipal theater of Villaspeciosa . A cultural hub that was little appreciated until recently, to which we want to restore importance. It is no coincidence that it has always been a priority for Abaco Teatro to bring creativity and culture beyond the confines of the usual large circuits, on the trail of the most disadvantaged territorial realities.

«Often in small communities like ours, with a population of 2,600 inhabitants, there is no lack of initiatives and ideas, but there is no possibility of giving them continuity. The enthusiasm of the public, which also includes all the neighboring municipalities, led us to decide to offer continuous programming and not just sporadic shows", comments Andrea Gallus, Councilor for Communication of Villaspeciosa.

There is an ongoing revaluation of theatres, which have always been a significant presence in cities and a concrete reference for people who can meet and exchange ideas and values in those spaces. A work of great attention and responsibility in order to create social and artistic networks capable of improving the quality of life of the inhabitants, as well as enriching the image of the most hidden Sardinia.

«We are fully satisfied with the response to our initiatives, which since last year has been expressed with great participation in all the activities and an exceptional interest in the social awareness themes suggested», highlights the artistic director Rosalba Piras.

The autumn season organized by Abaco Teatro is a beautiful artistic mosaic in which different styles and genres fit together perfectly, innovative proposals, languages and creative activities that draw from the past and the present along the lines of historical authors and works, together with related installations and themes to the daily newspaper.
