Today Casa Dessì hosts (from 4pm) the conference "Educational poverty in Italy. Educational paths to prevent and combat school dropout and social dispersion" , promoted by the Dessì Foundation as part of the "Il Premioaround" events and the space of itinerant training "Change comes from within" aimed at teachers, educators, school managers, parents, university students.
During the conference, which will discuss the spread of educational poverty in Italy and the importance of social inclusion as the center and beacon of educational work, experts in the sector will speak, including Luca Salmieri , professor of Sociology of culture at Sapienza University of Rome; Giuseppe Scarpa , head teacher of the Simaxis Villaurbana comprehensive institute; Maria Giovanna Dessi , social planner and co-founder of the Elda Mazzocchi Scarzella association; Cesare Moreno , president of the Maestri di Strada Onlus association.
The meeting will be moderated by Enrica Ena , coordinator of the itinerant training space "Change comes from within".
