"We represent the dregs and the scum, and we're proud of it. In Parliament, we're a dirty dozen; here, we're nobody's children, and we're very proud of it."

This was stated by the leader of Futuro Nazionale, Roberto Vannacci, from the stage of his party's constituent assembly in Rome.

Vannacci also discussed his party's relationship with the center-right and potential electoral agreements: "They told us we were helping the left. But should I now ally myself with this center-right alliance that continues to push forward Draghi's agenda and the Green Deal?" the former general asked.

Vannacci then read the "French Paratroopers' Prayer" to those present and asked the audience to stand and pray with him. He concluded: "With strength and faith, we will move forward; we will conquer the rest on our own."
