Valerio Scanu and the culinary tradition of Sardinia are the protagonists of the episode of Cook 40 broadcast on Saturday 12 April at midday on Rai 2.
The singer originally from La Maddalena will try his hand in the kitchen by preparing – in just 40 minutes – a menu inspired by the cuisine of the island, to which the episode is dedicated, helped by chef Pasquale Rinaldo .
Angelica Sepe , the singer-chef, will teach you how to prepare an olive, walnut and gorgonzola paté and will talk about carasau bread , one of the gastronomic symbols of Sardinia.
Stella Menna , food blogger, in her space entitled "L'aperistella" will help viewers prepare some very original aubergine wallets. And finally Emanuela Scatena , expert winemaker, will talk about Sardinian vines and explain the best food and wine pairings.
