Valentina Vezzali has been a regular on the island for years, thanks to her Academy, which operates every summer at Forte Village. But there's more: while fencing continues to choose Cagliari for major international events, the resort of Santa Margherita di Pula, just days after the conclusion of the World Championships in Hong Kong, has invited other champions, from American Olympian and world champion Lee Kiefer to Japan's Kyosuke Matsuyama, to a new initiative.
A high-level international clinic that also involved young Sardinian fencers from the CUS Cagliari. It was also an opportunity to meet the legendary Italian foil champion, whose interview will be published tomorrow, August 6th, in L'Unione Sarda.
