Freelancers, technicians and citizens filled the “Filippo Canu” conference room to attend the illustration of “Urbis Map”, the application aimed at those who need access to urban planning and building information on a daily basis.

During the presentation, the potential of a tool that simplifies and speeds up access to urban and landscape plans, cadastral practices and sector regulations was highlighted, reducing the gap between the public and private sectors . The meeting, open to members of the Orders of Architects and Engineers in the context of compulsory professional training, was conducted by the city councilor for urban planning, Gian Simona Tortu . "The Municipality of Porto Torres is restoring order in all urban planning matters - explained the exponent of the Mulas council - and for this reason we considered it appropriate to make available an application that would allow citizens to access the same updated information in a reliable and complete way who have offices.

The municipal manager Mario Cappai , head of the municipal urban plan office, reconstructed all the stages that led to the updates of the various plans. Illustrating, among others, two objectives of the administration: to approve the Coastal Plan by the summer and the Urban Plan by the end of the year.

The engineer Enrico Craboledda , CEO and Founder of Urbis Map, illustrated the genesis and functioning of Urbis Map. The importance of using such a tool in a territory, such as that of Porto Torres, where there is the overlapping of several regulatory instruments was underlined: half of the territory is represented by the Asinara Park, which has its own specific planning; half of that "on land" falls under the regulation of the industrial consortium while the port area responds to a further plan edited by the regional management authority. Then there are the traditional regional and national levels of planning, which can make orientation extremely complicated for insiders.

With Urbis Map, it was explained during the morning, the risky "misalignments" that can invalidate the compilation of the practices intended for Suape are avoided.
