Unions of Municipalities, 24 million euros arriving for 2023
Councilor Aldo Salaris: «Maximum attention to territories and communities»
The funds allocated for the 2023 year are arriving for Unions of Municipalities, Mountain Communities, and the Northern Sardinia Metropolitan Network.
This amounts to almost 24 million euros, of which 10,925,490 are state allocations and 12,990,880 are regional funds.
The Council, on the proposal of the councilor for local authorities, Aldo Salaris, confirmed the criteria for the provision of resources for which the notice has already been published.
«The closeness of the Region to the Municipalities is evident in the issues that most distinguish them and which have the greatest impact on the good administrative functioning and on services to citizens. We are aware of the difficulties that local authorities are going through at the moment and we confirm our desire to be the support and ally of the Municipalities, from the largest to the smallest, with the same attention and closeness", says Salaris also announcing the publication of the notice regarding the “Luigi Crespellani Award” (100 thousand euros for 2023) for the identification and public recognition of Sardinian local authorities that have distinguished themselves for organizational innovation in the management of associated functions, in particular in the protection and enhancement of the landscape; in the sustainable development goals of the 2030 Agenda; in solidarity and valorisation of social and cultural heritage.
«The objective - adds the councilor - is to initiate or strengthen territorial communities that develop greater social and cultural cohesion among the participating communities. The naming of the Award after the illustrious figure of Luigi Crespellani derives from his high ethical, cultural and human profile and from the important political role played after the Second World War, characterized by his commitment to the reconstruction of the political and administrative institutions of Sardinia".
For funding and for the Crespellani Prize, applications for participation must be submitted online by connecting to the Sardegna Autonomie portal.
