Immerse yourself in the life of one of the most authentic villages on the island, meet the locals, actively participate in daily activities, from artisanal to food and wine activities, but also contribute to creating that particular climate of warmth and sociability in view of the Christmas holidays .

You can experience all this in Sennariolo, a characteristic agro-pastoral village in Montiferro, among the smallest in Sardinia, which will host the "Sardinia Experiences, Ancient Knowledge and Flavors" event on 16 and 17 December. Here you will find a rich calendar of initiatives that will actively involve you, making you directly relive the ancient knowledge and flavors of the area.

How? On December 16th you will discover the charm of one of the prettiest villages in Sardinia, included in the official list of authentic villages in Italy. You will walk along a tangle of streets and narrow alleys that wind between low houses with large courtyards, made of basalt and sandstone, and embellished with jambs, architraves, frames and murals. Some of these works belong to the well-known island artist Pina Monne. You will be able to admire the Sanctuary of San Quirico, from the Romanesque period, recently restored, the church of Sant'Andrea Apostolo, dating back to 1676 and the church of Santa Vittoria, built on top of a panoramic hill. There is no shortage of Domus de Janas, Giants' tombs and numerous nuraghi in the area.

Do you want to live a fantastic adventure and be the protagonist? Then this is the right opportunity, where you can explore the numerous practical experiential activities. Through a sensorial laboratory, you will learn some techniques aimed at identifying various types of monofloral honey, with an extensive tasting paired with finger food. You will be able to enjoy preparing a traditional local dessert such as "pappassinos in druche". And, while waiting for the holidays, it will be possible to try your hand at the ancient song of "Cuncordu", attending the performance of the choir of Nostra Signora 'e Su Rosariu and the Polyphonic Choir of S. Andrea.

Activities linked above all to gastronomic tradition are planned for December 17th. Thanks to the help of expert operators you will learn to recognize some medicinal and culinary plants present in the area. You will also participate in the creation of some typical dishes, which will end with the classic and curious "family lunch": together you will consume what was produced during the experiential workshops.

And what are you waiting for?

Live your experience as a true protagonist!
