The 2nd and 1st grade classes at Azuni Music High School in Sassari have won a winning combination. They won first and second prize, respectively, in the third edition of the competition on the theme "The Culture of Disability in Youth," promoted by the Sassari branch of Uildm, the Italian Union for the Fight against Muscular Dystrophy (Uildm).

First prize was awarded to 2^M for a video titled "In the shoes of a visually impaired person," in which half the students in the class, assisted by their classmates as chaperones, simulated the condition of being blind for a day, using musical clips and interviews about the emotions arising from experiencing visual impairment in everyday activities, including school activities.

The prizes, worth 300 Euro each, were awarded during a ceremony held in the auditorium of the Azuni Music High School, in via de Carolis, which was attended by the mayor of Sassari, Giuseppe Mascia, the president of the city's Uildm, Gigliola Serra, and the teachers Andrea Masala, Mariella Pala and Maria Antonietta Rudas, the institute's representatives for the initiative.

At the opening of the ceremony and shortly before the awards ceremony, students from the Azuni Music High School's string ensemble, coordinated by teachers Alessio Manca and Gioele Lumbau, performed some pieces by Antonio Vivaldi.
