The new edition of Cinema delle Terre del Mare is underway, the festival of the Alghero Humanitarian Society which sails along the entire Coral Riviera for a week of meetings and screenings overlooking the sea.

First stop on Saturday 22 July in the spaces of the Antonio Marras boutique, in Piazza Civica, where from 6 pm the exhibition The summer of Joe, Liz and Richard - Twenty photos from the set of the film The Cliff of Desires - promoted by the Sardegna Film Foundation Commission.

On display until 30 July a series of shots from the famous film by Joseph Losey The Reef of Desires , shot entirely at Capo Caccia in 1967.

The exhibition is the first of four events that the festival dedicates to the evocative cinematic adventure of Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and Joseph Losey on the Alghero coast.

A focus inspired by the documentary The summer of Joe, Liz and Richard , written and directed by Sergio Naitza (Karel productions), filmed between Sardinia, Europe and the USA, which tells the glamor and vicissitudes of the Hollywood set, in the Alghero at the end of the 1960s, which includes the screening of the film, the presentation of a book and a film tourism itinerary.
