Twelve artists and a journey into the female archetype: Oristano opens "M-Aria"

This exhibition explores the female archetype and the theme of lightness, curated by twelve artists and the Tribu Cultural Association. Tomorrow, December 13th, the group exhibition "M-Aria: Icons, Identity, Echoes," curated by Ivana Salis, will open in Oristano.

The event is at 7:30 pm at Spazio M'Arte, at Via Cagliari 275. The exhibition will be open to the public with free admission until February 20, 2026. Throughout the exhibition, the space will host a rich program of events, including book presentations, poetry readings, theater, performances, art therapy, and themed conferences. The artists featured are Mariagrazia Medda, Mariagrazia Tuveri, Alessandra Raggio, Genoveffa Serra, Enya Idda, Emanuela Cau, Daniela Nobile, Elena Achilli, Marina Desogus, Carla Monni, Valeria Troncia, and Animateria. It is thanks to them that lightness takes shape.

As the organizers explain, "M-Aria is an exhibition that plays with the double meaning of its name—Maria as a female archetype, Aria as an impalpable substance—and turns it into a small exercise in visual poetry. The artists involved transform this lightness into matter, constructing a journey made more of resonances than declarations. The icons are neither sacred nor pop figures: they are suggestive presences, forms that emerge from silence, as if the female representation preferred the shadows to the clamor."
