From February 28th to July 31st, the covered promenade of the Bastione di Saint Remy hosts the event "Tutankhamun. The tomb, the treasure, the discovery." The exhibition brings to Cagliari the only official replicas of the "child pharaoh's" funerary objects, certified by the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities. The originals, now preserved at the Grand Egyptian Museum, no longer travel.

An opportunity, therefore, to see up close the funerary mask, the sarcophagi, the chariots, the protective statues and the personal objects of the pharaoh , with the addition of scenography, immersive installations and a virtual tour that allows you to explore the entire tomb.

There are also sections dedicated to mummification , the history of Tutankhamun's royal family and the myths that arose around his tomb, such as the famous curse .

The initiative, sponsored by the Municipality of Cagliari, will offer guided tours in multiple languages, educational materials, and a selection of themed objects and publications, including those from Egypt.
