“No slogans. Only Sardinia" . It is the non-slogan of the campaign of the centre-right candidate Paolo Truzzu who today in Cagliari, at the electoral headquarters in via Lo Frasso, illustrated the government program and took stock of these first days among the Island's Municipalities.

No slogans "because we don't believe in the party of the magic wand ", he explained. Obviously, "we have clear ideas about what to do." For example, on the amount of resources available to the Region - one billion from the revenue dispute and the 8 billion from community funds - "we will demonstrate that we will be able to spend them, a large part of which must be used to fill the infrastructure gap ".

The dialogue with the Government will be fundamental, «it is a key to understanding the development of Sardinia, we hope to have a frank discussion involving it where necessary, in any case without hats in hand» . At the center of the Region's policies is the dialogue with local communities «which will be constant and will lead us to make new agreements from time to time. We would like to establish a new Carta De Logu." On energy, water and waste, the gubernatorial candidate maintains that "we must maintain control and set up an Energy Agency that systematizes this fundamental asset for the Sardinians".

Healthcare chapter. «For too long we have focused on the size of the hospital. We must start again from strengthening the territorial network and local medicine, as well as exploiting the resources of the Pnrr on telemedicine ". As for transport, "we will continue on the path taken by the regional department" .

Paolo Truzzu also underlined that it is unlikely that he will participate in all the electoral debates to which he is invited. This is also because compared to its direct competitors, it started its electoral campaign later. “I've already had about fifty requests,” he admitted. Having said that, " there are less than 30 days for the electoral campaign, if I participated in all the meetings I wouldn't be able to meet the voters ." In particular, Truzzu could participate in the Confcommercio meeting scheduled for Saturday, but only via videoconference.
