"Yes, I feel like the gubernatorial candidate." A few days after the investiture, by majority vote, by the center-right table, the mayor of Cagliari Paolo Truzzu, a member of FdI, breaks the delay and already speaks as an aspiring president of the Region, responding to reporters before a press conference in the town hall. A position that the day after the coalition's decision at Palazzo Tirso, in Cagliari, he expressed through a post on social media: «Responsibility, gratitude and pride», the mayor of Cagliari wrote, «as always I will work with humility and for everyone. I believe in the politics of making and courageous choices in the exclusive interest of Sardinia. The challenges are many and difficult but, together with all those who will accompany us in this adventure, we will give our best for our land and its future."

However, there is no shortage of appeal to the League and the Sardinian Action Party, which, with a rift in the last summit with the allies, propose to reconfirm Christian Solinas as leader of the center-right in view of the vote on February 25th. «Obviously we work for the unity of the coalition», adds Truzzu, «we have the will to work with everyone, therefore also with Lega and Psd'Az, and the hope that they can soon be with us in the team».

Lists, a hypothetical list of the president will be discussed today starting from 3.30 pm at the first meeting of Paolo Truzzu (FdI) with the political forces that have indicated him as candidate for governor for the center-right during the regional table on Thursday. But the meeting will not be held at Palazzo Tirso, as initially leaked, but by teleconference. FdI, in fact, is involved in a party board meeting again in the afternoon in Oristano.
