Meeting this morning at the University of Cagliari , from 9.30 to 13.30 , to present the book “Le verità”, a publication edited by Giulia, journalist of Sardinia .

An event that will also be an opportunity for discussion and in-depth analysis of the different articulations and meanings of the concept of truth , which are fundamental for guiding not only information, education and models of knowledge, but also social relations.
The book, co-published with Grafiche Ghiani, is a collection of 16 different analyses of the concept of truth, each entrusted to experts from different professional, study and research sectors, not only in Sardinia.

« A project that has long been on the agenda among our work priorities , that of exploring the concept of truth through many points of view drawn from multiple cultural and professional perspectives», the words of Susi Ronchi, Giulia Coordinator of journalists in Sardinia .

"It is a book at the service of knowledge, useful for developing analytical and critical thinking , aimed at the world of school but also at those who do research and information, written in an accessible language that stimulates reasoning and accompanies towards the recognition and understanding of the different faces with which the truth presents itself, not just one and only, but many, that through the reading of these pages will be better known and interpreted. Starting from the substantial truth of the facts that is the specific truth of the media".
THE PROGRAM – The meeting will take place in the Aula Magna “Capitini” in the adjoining building of the Faculty of Humanistic Studies , in via Is Mirrionis 1.

After the greetings and introductory speeches entrusted to Elisabetta Gola , Vice-Rector for Communication and Philosopher at UniCa, author of the part in the book dedicated to semantic truth, and Susi Ronchi , author of the chapter on post-truth, also in the presence of the journalist Maurizio Mannoni, the contributions, among others, of Valeria Aresti, lawyer, and Marco Cocco , magistrate, who together address the theme of procedural truth; Mons. Giuseppe Baturi , Archbishop of Cagliari on the theme of dogmatic truth; Serena Bersani, President of Giulia journalists, on grammatical truth; Francesco Birocchi, President of OdG Sardinia, and Roberta Celot, Head of Ansa Sardinia, on the substantial truth of the facts; Michele Camerota, Historian of Science at UniCa, in a panel dedicated to truth and sources; Luciano Colombo, Vice-Rector for Research and physicist at UniCa, on the truth of science; Massimo dell'Utri, Philosopher at UniSS, on the theme of plural truth; Francesca Ervas, Philosopher of language UniCa, on truth & bias; Adriano Fabris, Moral philosopher University of Pisa, on ontological truth; Silvia Garambois, Giulia journalists, on gender truth; Micaela Morelli, Neuroscientist UniCa, on the topic of truth and mind; Francesco Paoli, Logician University of Cagliari, on logical-syntactic truth; Marco Pignotti, Historian UniCa, on historical truth; Silvano Tagliagambe, Philosopher University of Sassari, on the topic of epistemological truth.
