Travis Diener returns to the PalaSerradimigni. The brilliant point guard who won the 2014 Coppa Italia with Dinamo and entertained fans for four seasons will be in Sassari from July 22nd to 24th for a three-day partnership between the blue and white club and the Chapman Academy - Diener: the TD 12 Elite Masterclass.

Training sessions will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the PalaSerradimigni: three days of high-intensity training, open to all players born in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012, who will have the opportunity to train closely with one of the players who most influenced the second decade of the 2000s in Serie A.

Ala-Diener, as he's nicknamed, is American by birth but obtained an Italian passport in Sassari, which allowed him to play a few games for the national team. After retiring from playing after his stint in Cremona (which won another Italian Cup in 2019, under coach Meo Sacchetti), Travis Diener became a coach and launched the Chapman Academy project, created in collaboration with two college teammates from Marquette: Joe Chapman and three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade.
