Former Inter, Monza, and Verona midfielder Roberto Gagliardini underwent a medical at Villa Stuart in Rome. His transfer to Cagliari will be formalized this afternoon with the signing of a contract, the terms of which have not yet been made official.

Born in 1994, Gagliardini played last season for Verona (29 appearances and one goal, against Cagliari).

An Atalanta graduate, he played 156 games for Inter between 2017 and 2023. He also scored against the Rossoblu while playing for the Nerazzurri in Milan's 5-1 win in the 2016-2017 season against the team then coached by Rastelli.
