A tragedy was narrowly avoided this morning in Via Campania, Cagliari .

A lamppost collapsed on a parked car, shattering the rear window.

Fortunately, despite the area being very busy and crowded with high school students, no one was involved and no one was injured .

A battered and unsafe pole . The mistral wind is blowing in Cagliari but it is not strong enough to cause such a collapse.
