"I expect a Juventus that is aggressive and focused on the objective, but we will be just as focused". Davide Nicola waves the red and blue flag and thus launches the challenge to the Old Lady from the press room of the Unipol Domus where the finishing touches have just been concluded in front of over two thousand fans. "Opening the stadium was a functional choice to let us enter the match earlier", explains the Cagliari coach himself. "This is also training, mental training".
Nicola reveals: «It was a very intense preparation during the week, considering that we find a solid team used to winning». No reverential fear: «The values are evident. In the span of a single match, however, anything can happen through organization and application».
The key is the same: "Maintain a high level of humility without, however, losing courage". It will be a completely different challenge compared to the one played and drawn last Saturday in Bergamo. "Atalanta and Juventus are two opposite teams, both in the way they cover the field and in their defensive strategy. Also for this reason", Nicola points out, "we will have to do something more while maintaining, however, the same level of aggression".
On the Argentine sirens for Palomino (Talleres would like him immediately), the Cagliari coach is keen to point out: «For us he is an important, fundamental player , and this does not mean seeing him on the pitch for thirty games, but participating in the construction of a project».
