Tourism on the island drops 10%, with focus now on September.
Even in Sardinia, Italians are experiencing shorter holidays. Federalberghi (the Italian hoteliers' federation) says, "Fewer days of stay in July and August; we're confident in the shoulder months."Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
The trend is now widespread: holidays are getting shorter . As August draws to a close, initial findings aren't entirely satisfying for tourism operators: Sardinia has seen a 10% drop in visitor numbers.
Federalberghi: " The number of Italians staying in Italy has decreased, not so much in terms of arrivals."
It's an excellent season for agritourism. We're looking ahead to September : there are already many bookings, but for the rest, we're relying on last-minute bookings.
