Confcommercio is delighted: Northwest Sardinia has had a remarkable June , achieving widespread growth and consolidating its appeal on international markets.

The analysis of territorial data paints an extremely positive picture of visitor flows , starting with the macroscopic data for the entire province. With a statistical sample representing nearly a third of the hotels in the northwestern area of the island (equal to 48,450 rooms and 108,090 monitored beds), average room occupancy reached 81.34% , a significant increase compared to the 77.01% recorded in the same month in 2025. Seven out of ten guests are foreigners.

Alghero confirms its position as the region's driving force . The Coral Riviera has recorded an astonishing room occupancy rate, reaching 85% compared to 78% last year . This leap forward has also been optimized by more efficient management of internal space: the data shows a significant increase in single-bed occupancy, a sign of a drastic reduction in double rooms for single use or unoccupied triple rooms. In Alghero, the foreign presence is becoming a significantly significant numerical variable, reaching a peak of 79.05%. Excellent signs are also coming from the Gulf of Asinara area, where occupancy stands at 75.84%, a slight increase over 2025. Although six out of ten foreign tourists in this sector are affected by the weighting of hotels in the city of Sassari, if we isolate the Gulf's coastal facilities alone, the density of international tourists even surpasses Alghero's records.

Stefano Visconti, president of Federalberghi Confcommercio Nord Ovest, states: "The increase in occupancy rates is paralleled by the robust growth in arrivals at our airport and the extraordinary impact of global events. Operators have demonstrated unparalleled flexibility and maturity in seizing these opportunities, translating them into top-quality hotel service. This is clearly demonstrated by the parallel improvement in guest reviews of our properties today."
