Tortolì, church party for the 40th anniversary of the Sant'Andrea folk group

Party for the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Sant'Andrea di Tortolì folk group. It was May 23, 1983 when the cultural formation performed for the first time. The occasion was a classical dance recital at the Zinnias sports field and the members of the group danced to the notes of su ballu lestru.
This morning the group, chaired by Rosinetta Cuccu, celebrated the anniversary by participating in the mass celebrated in the church of Sant'Andrea by the parish priest Don Piero Crobeddu and the deacon, Mario Pinna. Currently there are 40 members, between 5 and 50 years old.
The celebration in which the group took part, a custom respected at the end of each decade, was dedicated to Andrea Depau, the association's dancer who died prematurely at the age of 23.
