Torres plays the game but is not cynical and draws with Pontedera

The least concrete Torres of the season did not go beyond the 0-0 draw with the modest Pontedera, who apart from a good balance on the pitch did very little to play for the match. It is the second draw in a row and the Sassari team still remains the solitary leaders, but it is a wasted opportunity.

Torres still without director Giorico and left winger Liviero (he plays on the Kujabi wing) and with Fabriani replacing defender Idda (fractured one hand). In the 11th minute Scotto's shot grazes the right post. Two minutes later a right corner that Mastinu kicks directly into the goal but the ball ends up on the crossbar.

In the 17th minute Torres' best action: Ruocco takes a good shot into the area and when the goalkeeper comes out he puts it in from the right back, Fischnaller doesn't get there, while Kujabi is too far away and sends the ball to the outside of the net.Rossoblù at times too affected, sometimes imprecise. In the 22nd minute Antonelli stops Benedetti who had been favored by a rebound.

In the second half, Torres had two opportunities to break the deadlock with Fischnaller shortly after the half hour mark: the first on a nice counterattack triggered by Mastinu, but Stancampioano did well to put it in the corner, then the home striker's header ended up on the right post.

It ends with a shot by Scotto blocked by the goalkeeper without too many problems and a melee in front of goal where Ruocco is blocked twice and a conclusion from the central guest Ianesi.
